What makes a good corporate video - and how do we find the right form?
Many companies know that video is a powerful communication tool - but are unsure what to show and how to do it. Should it be an interview? A mood video? A case study? Something completely different?
The short answer is: It depends on what you want the video to do. Here are some typical considerations we make together before we get started.
Who is the video for - and what should it do?
We always start with the target audience. Is it customers, new employees, investors - or within the organization?
The purpose guides the choice of format, tone and duration.
Do you have something important to share?
Want to show how you work?
Is the goal to build trust, visibility or understanding?
Once we know the answer, the choice of video form becomes much easier.
What should we show - and who should say it?
Sometimes it's people who carry the message - sometimes it's the visual impression.
We can work with:
Interview or speak
Environmental images from everyday life
Clips from production, collaboration or use cases
Text and graphics that explain without narration
There is no one right way. But there is a good solution - for your situation.
