Employee portraits for companies and organizations

I photograph employees in businesses and organizations, including both managers and teams. I come to your location to minimize disruption and focus on capturing an image that suits both the individual and the company.

Tailored to your company
The portraits can be taken against a neutral background or in the environment, depending on what suits your visual identity. Together, we agree on a setup and a process that takes into account both expression and time constraints.

Efficient process and high quality
I have experience working with everything from small teams to large organizations, and I work efficiently and in a structured manner. You'll receive images that are ready to use immediately – without any hassle or surprises.

A good employee portrait should both showcase the individual and support the company's visual identity.

An employee portrait needs to work on both a visual and an organisational level.

Typical assignments

I am usually contacted when a company:

  • Need to update the photos of the entire team

  • has hired new employees and wants to ensure consistency in their visual communication.

  • need press photos for an appointment or mention

  • Looking for natural portraits on location – without the use of a studio or backdrop

Often, we take the photos in the meeting room, in production areas, at desks – or wherever the light is best. If you wish, I can also create variations, such as standing and sitting poses, color and black/white versions, and crops optimized for LinkedIn or print.

My approach to employee portraits

My approach is simple and tailored to your day. I stay out of the way, but I'm present where I need to be – with an eye for light, expression, and the individual.

I typically shoot with natural light or a small, portable setup.

In my experience, some employees don't find portrait day to be the most fun, but I have extensive experience in creating a calm and safe environment. It's also usually an advantage that when we use the computer to review the photos, the employee immediately sees that the lighting and other factors make them look good.

If you need advice on style, image cropping, or how to organize your image library, I'm happy to help. I can also assist in establishing a standard template or process to make it easy to repeat next time.

Why employee portraits are important for the company brand

Employee portraits are an important part of a company’s visual identity. They put a human face on the organisation for customers, business partners, and future employees. When portraits are done professionally and with an eye for corporate style, they create a credible and cohesive impression across websites, presentations, social media, and press materials.

Internally, the portraits also support communication in reports, intranets, and internal presentations. Many companies actively use them as part of their branding, HR efforts, and recruitment.

Delivery, format, and structure

After the photoshoot, you will receive the images quickly – often the same day, and at the latest within a few days.
I deliver in multiple resolutions and formats, customized for:

  • LinkedIn profiles

  • Intranet and email signatures

  • Press and print

  • Square social media crops

The files are named and structured for easy archiving and use, and can be updated continuously as your team grows.

A collaboration that works

Many of the companies I work with have faced the same challenge: they needed new photos without causing too much disruption. I take this into account. I often collaborate with HR or communications departments to agree in advance on the best approach: who, where, when, and how it fits into your workday.
