I moved to Hvalsø in central Zealand with my family in 2020. Since then, I have been taking portraits of people in the town and of some of the things that make Hvalsø what it is.

As a photographer and newcomer to Hvalsø, it felt natural for me to get closer to the town, and some of the people I share the town with, through photography.

Most of the people portrayed volunteered for the project through Facebook posts, where I asked for individuals interested in participating.
